A place to play, learn, and shine.
Little Village Learning Center is a warm, joyful place in Denver where children are known by name, cared for like family, and given room to wonder. Come see what a day here feels like.

About Us
Little Village started with a simple belief: children learn best when they feel safe, seen, and genuinely delighted in. Every classroom here is built around that idea.
Our teachers aren't minding the clock — they're on the floor, at eye level, following where a child's curiosity leads. We keep our groups small on purpose, so every family gets a real relationship, not a roster number.
Fewer children per teacher means your child is truly known, not just supervised.
Consistent, credentialed educators — because attachment matters more than anything.
You are welcome any time. Daily photos and notes so you never wonder how the day went.
Programs
From infant care through preschool, Pre-K and school-age programs, children move through our village at their own pace, with familiar faces the whole way. Every group keeps a low ratio so no one gets lost in the crowd.

Gentle, responsive care on your baby's own rhythm. Feeding, napping and tummy time follow your routine, not a schedule.

Busy hands and big feelings. Toddlers explore, stack, spill and name the world while we help them learn to share it.

Play becomes projects. Children ask real questions and chase the answers through art, stories, building and outdoor discovery.

Kindergarten readiness without the worksheets. Confidence, focus and a genuine love of learning come first.

Before school, after school, and all summer. Homework support, STEAM projects, and plenty of time to just be a kid.
Tell us your child's age and we'll walk you through the right room on a tour.
Schedule a TourOur Approach
No single philosophy has all the answers, and children don't fit neatly into one. Our teachers draw from the approaches below and choose what actually serves the child in front of them.

Child-led work with beautiful, purposeful materials. Children choose their work and build deep focus and independence.

The child as capable and curious. Learning emerges from their questions, documented and revisited together.

Play is how young children do their most serious thinking. We protect long, uninterrupted stretches of it.

Science, tech, engineering, art and math woven into real investigations children care about finishing.

Naming feelings, repairing friendships, and learning to be kind on purpose. The skill that carries everything else.
In practice: a Montessori practical-life shelf in the toddler room, a Reggio-style documentation wall in preschool, and a whole lot of uninterrupted play everywhere. We'll show you exactly how it works on a tour.
Our Space
Every room is designed at a child's height and lit by real daylight. Come walk through it in person — photos never do it justice.

Families
We toured five centers in Denver. Little Village was the only one where every teacher knew every child's name — including the ones not in their room.
Our daughter started at eight months old and just moved up to Pre-K. Watching the same teachers celebrate her the whole way through has meant everything.
The daily photos ended my anxiety about drop-off. I can see she's happy, and that changed my whole workday.
Questions
We welcome children from 6 months through 10 years old — infants, toddlers, preschool, Pre-K, plus before/after-school care and summer programs for school-age kids.
We're open Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, year-round. Saturday visits are available by appointment.
We're at 2243 S Monaco St Pkwy in southeast Denver, minutes from Virginia Village, Goldsmith, University Hills, Wellshire, and Hutchinson Hills — right near James A. Bible Park.
Ratios depend on age: 4:1 for infants, 5:1 for toddlers, 8:1 for preschool, 10:1 for Pre-K, and 12:1 for school-age children — small groups are the heart of how we work.
We blend the best of Montessori, Reggio Emilia, play-based learning, STEAM project work, and social-emotional learning, chosen to fit each child rather than forcing one method on everyone.
Ask us — we're happy to walk you through Colorado UPK and DPP options for your family and help you figure out what your child qualifies for.
Use the tour form on this page, call us at (720) 923-7928, or email littlevillage2025@gmail.com. Tours take about 30 minutes and children are always welcome to come along.
